Heel/toe shifter advice

Looking for advice on whether or not to invest in a heel/toe shifter for my 05 Wing. I have a MT trike conversion with aqua shields. I'm thinking of this for comfort reasons only. Are there different types? I know everything is individual taste, but, is it worth the expense? Will the aqua shields interfere? Thanks.....Alan

PUt a Kury shifter on my 03 wing MT conversion. Love it. One thing - check the piece the shifter fork slids on. on mine, there was a casting bur that kept the shifter from working right ever time. about 2 minutes of files the groove on the shifter fork and now it works perfectly.
With the shields trying to lift the shifter with your toe can get tiresome. the heel/toe shifter works great.

On my 04 MT Spyder kit I had no aqua shields but did have the toe/heel shifter. Loved it. Now I have an 08 MT Adventure Kit with aquashield. Don't have the toe/heel on this one YET.. I'm ok with the stock OEM. But I've seen several kits like mine that say they love it. To each his/her own ya know. RIDE SAFE..:Biker:

I love a heel shifter. I bought one for my GL and it didn't work right. I had a hard time shifting into 2nd, more often than not having to catch it with my toe. I can't remember its name but it began with a K.

I've taken it off now so am tearing up the toe of my boots shifting.

Have the Kury floor boards with the Kury Heel / Toe shifter and love it, works great around town or on the road. Just make sure it is adjusted correctly and that the the heel shift is not too high. I do recommend a heel /toe shifter.

Ride safe.
jt - just sayin
