Bought a set of heated grips for my 24 Freewheeler, just seeking advice if this is something a above average wrench can attempt , or pass on to the dealer? I do have a manual on order, reading the instructions, I see the tank is removed, but most of the instructions appear to be above board. Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated

So after studying the instructions and several videos, I've decided it's well within my ability, but the actual wiring into the system is a little unclear. If anyone can pipe in, it would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

I know what you mean !
The left and right grips get wired to each other. Power is only supplied to one grip.

Leave it to HD to make something so simple technically complicated.

So it's unclear in the instructions where and how you pull the power. Waiting for the shop manual to come in, hoping that will answer my questions
