bought header pipe off e bay with cat removed several months ago. decided to put it on .to long y pipe clamp wont fit . pipe was cut in middle to remove cat , welded back weld makes it 1/4 longer than stock.

tried that and it worked thanks for your helpIf you are talking about where the header makes a left turn to connect to the crossover...have you tried loosening the bolt that holds the crossover in place against the trans? If it is only 1/4" off, you can then use a washer as a spacer (if needed) on the crossover bracket, and your left slip-on has plenty of play, forward & backward, so that is a non-issue.
If I am understanding wrong, post up a photo of where you are having a fitment challenge.

thanks for the help kevin. i guess i couldnt see the forest for the trees. started it up today sounds the way it should.raining or would be out.
