Header pipes

Is there a difference between the headers of a touring bike and a tri-glide? I am under the assumption they are the same,just that the trike requires an extension to the muffler.

Bob is correct about the headers.....but curious why you would want to weld the extensions. Sure would make it harder to change either of the pipes in the future in my opinion...jc

I picked up a set of headers today,Brand new,12 miles on them,including the shields--$40 bucks.Measurements are the same,don't know what they came off of though.

Going to de-cat these and save the originals.
