Having to loosen belt since installed DK shock angle plates to tight

I figure now have to loosen pinch bolts and adjust the tension bolts. ASSUMED that dealership set that when bike put together, guess not. Was a little tight when got Freewheeler, guess now that my next project! Never evening, but learn more about Freewheeler since don't have a service manual!

Its not that difficult just keep things square and you will be okay

A proper belt deflection tool should be used .... and yes ... they feel damn tight when properly adjusted!!!

Yep! What he said. Thought mine was super tight but gauged correct at the dealer! DK Comfort lift kit installed.

DK Lift Kit

Thought belt to tight, that wasn’t the problem exhaust on right side hitting exhaust pipe. Had to cut off 1/2 inch of the part where CAT is and 1/2 off the offset pipe. Now doesn’t hit swing arm. Does improve ride now.

The M8 motors requires a different lift kit bracket design than the TC103's due to changes in the exhaust.

Could it be that you received/used the wrong bracket for your application?

Called DK Today, told them my issue. We talked about the extension off CAT, possibly when extension welded to the bell, was welded off. What I did corrected the problem.
