Harley Trike T-Shirt

Guys,

I have to say that I generally stopped buying HD Tshirts two decades ago. I now only get the free one with a bike purchase - an I usually get it for someone else to were......

I personally like the concept of a "purposely-made shirt" like the AUTUMRIDERS website has. For the money, you should be able to pic your shirt and the design, and even have it "individually" design.....

I think those buying the HD Dealer shirt are just letting themselves get ripped off....

Sorry; but, its just my take on it......

Springman

PS - Just to disclose, the AUTUMRIDERS site does not have a design for a Freewheeler....so, I am SOL on that as well.......

Give them time - they are always adding new designs. They didn't have the Tri Glide a couple years ago either. Now I have a couple.

I don't buy t-shirts anymore either - I didn't even buy one at Rolling Thunder last month - the pin was enough this year.

Just on special occasions from now on. ThumbUp

closed on Mondays! - - - Updated - - -

BinIdaho, they were only closed on Mondays thru the Winter months. They are currently open 7 day/week. They just received a large shipment of the TriGlide T's and the motor clothes manager requested that I post this in case anyone is still interested in purchasing one of the new TriGlide Trike T-Shirts.

The back has the dealership information on it - i.e. Wildhorse Harley-Davidson, Bend, Oregon.

If anyone is still interested they can call Emily (manager) @ (541) 330-6228 and advise Emily that Roger suggested to ask for Emily. I will post a photo (first time trying this photo adding thing!!) but I don't know how to rotate the photo???

I don't know where you heard that Wildhorse was opening a store in Tucson but I am sure that it not correct as I am personal friends with the Owner (Bill Nash) and this has never been discussed! He is also the COO of A company called " Ride Now" and they are opening a store in Tucson as we speak, and I think it is Pueblo H-D in Tucson if I am not mistaken!!

Pin any event, the shirts look good and they received a pretty good selection of sizes!

Take care, and ride safe!

I think they have one large trike T left in stock. Large dealer logo on back. It'll probably be the last $30 t-shirt that I will buy.

Trike Tee Shirt Finally In

Just got a call today that our dealership, Rocky Mountain H-D, just got their trike tee shirts in. I've been asking for over two years and now they've finally arrived. I'll pick it up this evening after work. I'll see if I can post a picture, but want to check and see how many they really have. They may have ordered just one for me to shut me up!!

My dealer never got either one of the previous TriGlide t-shirts, but tons of the Freewheeler ones. Not selling at all. Even the bikes themselves aren't selling well with the
I told them not to worry, the TG's didn't sell well in the beginning either, now they can't get enough of them.

The gals keep trying to get me to buy the Freewheeler shirt - almost begging me. :D
Told them no dice I don't have a Freewheeler, I have a TG. They say it's the same thing - bless their hearts. :)

My dealer is still trying to get rid of their Freewheeler T's. :AGGHH: Don't seem to be selling much.

Begging me to buy one. I said I have a TG and the gal said "So, same thing-3 wheels". I said "Honey, there's no comparison. No thanks"? :)

Got a cool one at the Tomahawk Open house/Rally/Street party this weekend. It shows a fat biker laying on a trike with the words "Are we going to ride or just sit around and dicker"....... Not a dealer shirt :)

Saw tons of trikes there. I think every TG Harley ever made was there.

It was great riding around gods country.

Our base was Holiday Acres in Rhinelander and Friday and Saturday we rode 100 mile loops around the area....one north and one south.

Now that's a pretty cool shirt ! :D

People do seem to like the dealership's skull logo. They've had it since they opened 35 years ago or so. The mother ship didn't say anything about using a skull in the logo when they opened, but over the years as they've changed their "standards", they've tried to get them to get rid of the skull. Never did and never will, especially now that the Willie G. line of clothing, etc. all has a skull on it now. Granted, there's no lower jaw, but it's still a skull.

I've heard about Harley selling ( Trike ) T-Shirts with the dealers names on the back and a pic of a Trike on the front. So when I was at a local dealer today I found one. It looked good, but ( geez ) it was priced at $32.95. As much as I wanted it, I just couldn't pay that for a $4.99 T-shirt. I know everything at the Harley store is pricey, and you see almost everyone wearing one, so there making money, but if they sold it for a reasonable price I would think they would sell a lot more and make even more money. Then again if you own a Harley, I guess you can afford that $32.95 T-shirt.

Except me.

Whats your opinion ???

Well you did buy an over priced motorcycle :)

Sorry, off topic question.

$32.95 for a HD shirt? Actually not too bad as Harley shirts go. The price is one of the reasons I don't buy too many official MoFoCo shirts. Seems most of the ones I get now days are event shirts, and mostly those are vendor items, not the sanctioned event shirt.

To stay on topic I'll just say I'm going to get myself and my wife a Trike Tee shirt now since you all brought it to my attention.

Now, off topic. I see you have a custom paint job that looks very cool. I would like to find a custom painter that can be trusted not to ruin the Trike.

Is your painter in Arkansas?

Thanks,

Brian

The last Harley shirt that i got was free' But i had to pay 30 thousand dollars for the extra shipping and handling fees on the Tri-Glide to qualify for the free shirt:D... ..

Rhino, you must have dealt with the same salesman I talked to Friday. I was in there looking for the trike tshirt my wife had seen. He offered me a free bike if I bought a $30000+ tshirt. Thankfully they had sold out of the shirts.

I know this is an Old Thread, but how many people are still buying theses over priced T-Shirts. I've been looking when I stop at a HD Dealer, but I haven't seen a Trike T-Shirt in a long time. I wonder why

Just the other day i filed out an online survey for HOG magazine , And i gave it low marks, Then a box came up and asked why the low marks, My answer was, Nowhere in your magazine do you talk about Trikes , Show Trikes ,Or do a feature on Trikes, And when you show your bike line...You don't include Trikes...And i also said its like you don't recognize/realize that Motorcyclist's are reaching the age where Trikes are the next step in keeping you in business .. ....

So to answer your question, Sully, I don't think they care...I let 3 magazines that i had subscriptions to for many years lapse...Have you ever seen any thing about Trikes in AMA'S Magazine , Thats one i let lapse also.....

The Wife and I are both riders ( 3 and 2 wheels). We were considering a several month tour through Europe and found it prohibitively expensive to ship our trikes/bikes. ($2-3K each)

Talked to dozens of tour companies and dealerships, and NONE of them provided trikes for rental or use in guided tours.

I patiently explained to each that the demographic who can afford to take 2-3 months to "Gypsy" across Europe on bikes, are those of us "of-an-age" to prefer trikes, and they would be well served to have some trikes available.

I heard a lot of "we'll think about that". What a bunch of maroons! :Joker3:

i've never bought a harley shirt. i've been given one when i've bought a new bike and have had a bunch of them given to me as gifts. had to tell my family no more. i do wear them and when they are shot they end up soaking up fluids in the garage.

I have a collection of Harley-Davidson Tee shirts in my closet. I haven't bought a new one in years. I have found that if I don't wear them, they don't leak oil and leave a film on my backrest.:qpnmt:
