Hey Guys

New to the forum and hoping you might be able to help me out.

Let first start by saying my son and I are long time bike riders ( currently a 2008 Fat Bob and a 2022 Street glide). I just recently picked up a 2003 Harley ultra classic electra glide trike. Nice low mileage bike.

In short, I've had to go through back surgeries, and being a old fat, the outcome at best is that I'm losing the strength in my legs and my balance. Doc said it's not going to improve, so I don't feel safe riding a 2 wheeler anymore.

Still, being retired about the only enjoyment I have is riding day trips with my son. And I'm not about to give that up! So, got a trike!

That said, I was hoping you guys might be able to answer a few questions for me. I was told by the previous owner that the trike conversion is a Lehman. From my research that appears right. what I'd like to know is:

1) is this a Lehman conversion?

2) what type of rear end is this?

3) how is this rear end serviced? I can't find a drain or fill plug and I read that some of these are grease filled?

4) If so, how do I go about doing that?

5) and how do you tighten the tension on the drive belt? It appears to have about 1" of slack

Being familiar with harleys I've gotten the general maintenance done on the bike just wanting to make sure this trike is road worthy!

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!

BJ

Service the belt like would if was still two-wheeler (it doesn't know the difference) Service the rear-end with grease there should be grease zerts
