Honda 2003 No Go.

Today my wife was gong down the road around 80+/- MPH, on our Honda 2003 Wing with a Champion conversion she heard this noise coming from the front of the motor and the next thing the engine was still running and sounds good but the trans or the clutch isn't working. The bike starts and runs no noises from the engien or anywhere else, you can shift it through the gears but none of the gears engage. Has anyone has this problem? looking for a little help.

Have you checked drive shaft? Trike of that age it might be a good starting point.:eek:mg:

Not sure how many miles is on that trike but if the trans output shaft splines were never greased it could be the splines are stripped and the noise you heard was the shaft spinning in the yoke.

Has this issue been resolved? Just asking.
