I've heard about Harley selling ( Trike ) T-Shirts with the dealers names on the back and a pic of a Trike on the front. So when I was at a local dealer today I found one. It looked good, but ( geez ) it was priced at $32.95. As much as I wanted it, I just couldn't pay that for a $4.99 T-shirt. I know everything at the Harley store is pricey, and you see almost everyone wearing one, so there making money, but if they sold it for a reasonable price I would think they would sell a lot more and make even more money. Then again if you own a Harley, I guess you can afford that $32.95 T-shirt.

Except me.

Whats your opinion ???

I got one and the tee-shirt is pretty cheap. At least here in Oregon. I have gotten a lot of tee-shirts and I look at the tag. The ones to get that are nice heavy cotton is Hanes Beefy tee shirts, then I don't mind paying the price.

I've NEVER bought a Harley dealership t-shirt. Once all my relatives told me that I'd bought a Harley, I got a bunch of t-shirts every Christmas / birthdays / Father's Days. Even t-shirts from places I've never been to!

My sister even bought two from Aruba. I've NEVER ridden to Aruba!

$32.95 for a HD shirt? Actually not too bad as Harley shirts go. The price is one of the reasons I don't buy too many official MoFoCo shirts. Seems most of the ones I get now days are event shirts, and mostly those are vendor items, not the sanctioned event shirt.

I got one of the HD trike t-shirts ( first I'd seen) at BikeTown in Austintown, Oh. last week for $28. I noticed them on the rack and the sales girls didn't even know they were trike shirts :)

Sully, I have two of the Trike T-Shirts but I am in a position of receiving a hefty discount from my local dealer and have not paid the list price. They list for $29.95 and I probably would have even paid that due to the uniqueness of this particular shirt.
I am with some of the other posters, as I also have enough H-D Dealership t-shirts to clothe the neighborhood.

I have stopped purchasing Dealership logo d shirts and only purchase a few of the Rally shirts if I attend the Rally.
I agree with you regarding the ridiculous price for their t-shirts though!!
Toughen up and purchase one, they are unique themselves!!

I know, I know, I was just venting. I'll get one more than likely, but I'm going to ask for a discount for me advertising their name on the back. I will always buy a rally shirt if I attend and if there is one. ThumbUp

I've completely stopped buying t-shirts....except the Rolling Thunder one each year. I would buy a dealer shirt if it was one with a collar and buttons - like a dress shirt - but all the have are just H-D shirts. I believe the dealer should sell the t-shirts cheaper since we are giving them free advertising. I think I may take an old dealer T and black out their name and then walk around the store and see what they say.:D

The rally t-shirts come in the registration package so I don't buy those from the dealer.

When I buy a new bike, I buy a new shirt from Autumn Riders and have if custom made with MY bike and color and my name or the chapter name or anything else embroidered on it for almost the same price as the dealer charges for a shirt. They have all kinds of clothing you can have made special.

I will not wear a t-shirt from a place I have never been to - period.....I feel I haven't earned it .....if that makes any sense.

I still haven't seen a H-D trike t-shirt.

I use to like the old t-shirts (pre90's) - they always had a funny theme or message, were colorful, were well made and not too expensive.
My favorite showed a doghouse and it was raining, the dog was laying out in the rain with a sad look on his face and the Harley was in the doghouse out of the rain. :)
It's starting to get pretty thin now...........and shrinking a lot. :D

GARYD. I feel the same way. I've had over 243 T shirts at one time. Been buying them since 1988. That's when I bought my 1st New one. A couple that we ride with in Arizona came up here for a visit. He had on one of those Trike T shirts. NICE. I think he wore it just to tease me. NOW I have to get one ThumbUp

I have at least 15 Harley ''T''s And one Victory ''T'' never paid for any of them, All of them were given to me as gifts.. Most from relatives, and some from my dealer when I bought a new Harley or a Victory from them.. When I bought the Victory they even threw in a Victory jacket with the bike... A question on that, Can I wear the jacket when I'm on my Tri-Glide? :xzqxz:

Anyone have a picture of this trike t-shirt? Is it the same design or are they different from dealer to dealer .....other then the name???

For $30 it better be fantastic. :cxtv:

Bought it today at Susquehanna HD in Harrisburg PA. $25 ..... less $10 York Open House contest promo discount = $15. Yeah Baby!!:pepper:

It really is a lot more red than the picture shows!!

I agree with most of the postings here. HD shirts are way too expensive..as most of their stuff.
I also never wear T's, hate anything around my neck, but do like the athletic or wife beater (sorry if I offend anyone with that term) shirts. I side with those who will not wear a shirt from someplace I have not been to, but carry it a little further...I have to get there by trike. Stopping in on my car trip to a HD dealer in NY or NC don't count.
with all that said, I sure like to own one of these "trike" shirts because they seem to be kind of rare. Hope to find one somewhere in my travels.

I buy them off of the clearance rack, and on trips. cant find my other shirts for all the Harley ones .
TRIKE T's ! I will have to have one.
my wife thinks its time for an intervention !

Dang, :gah: I went and did it, I paid the HD tax and got the Trike T-Shirt from one of the local dealers here. $32.95, Geez, My excuse is that this Trike shirt is rare. Here's a pic, it's Black. Who would guess that, right.

I have to agree. I like it. I want it. :D

Hope the color is redder then shown. Does it have the dealer name on the back????

I'm going to take this picture to my dealer and demand they get one for me. :pepper:

Whats your opinion ???

I was in Hollywood a couple of weeks ago and the shirts were $40 just for regular one with the location name on them. I didn't buy any but I might have if they were less.
