I'm wondering how many have had this kit installed? Is it making any difference that you can tell? It seems to me only 5 more amps is not that much, but then again maybe it is in the scheme of things.

We have 2 sets of heated gear, and I'm adding lots of LED lights. I'm also looking at amps to the stereo.

Let me know what you've noticed if you have installed it. Do you think it is worth the money.

thanks!

I installed it but didn't have anywhere near the items plugged in as you have..
The more stuff you add to electrical system the more it will tax the stator/regulator

Led lights you should be OK..But heated gear will draw some amps..MAke sure you hook directly to the battery for Heated Gear

Just a thought. Switch your headlight, spots, and taillights to LED. The difference in current draw is a lot. LEDs offer an extra margin of safty too. ThumbUp

Thanks- should have said this is a 2015 Triglide. Headlight, spots, and taillights are already LED, changing the turn signals to LED soon.

I'm in the same boat. I have heated gear/grips and the Stage I audio set up. Most lights are LED (2014TG). I am thinking on going to the Stage II audio set up and my dealer said I HAVE TO upgrade to the 54 amp kit because the extra amp put the bike at the threshold for the stock charging system.
Now I'm thinking the Stage I set up is fine because I'm not going to spend $3200 to upgrade to the Stage II.:AGGHH:
