Hannigan called today and said everything was a go for lift-off on the 1st. I certainly appreciate the encouragement, and the frustration, you folks have shared with me, kept me sane so far..well if there is such a thing as a sane triker:) (is there such a word?) I'll post some pictures this weekend of either a nice Harley trike, or a burnt down cycle shop:)

Anybody got a match?

Would you believe, yet another lame excuse and false promise from Hannigan. They called 2 days before the promised delivery and said that they couldn't find a reverse kit. Tried to tell me that I had to buy a set of true duals if I wanted reverse. I told them to ship it back he way it was! Today I found the Champion reverse kit for the '09 Ultra on the web and sent it to them. They claimed they didn't know that Champion had started making one. Yea, right. I'm to ballistic to do anything right now but will deal with it properly come Monday. No matter how nice this Hannigan kit is I've got a real sour taste in my mouth that will never be made right.

This is being done at the Hannigan factory ?? I GOT A SHOT GUN WITH NO NUMBERS YOU CAN HAVE ! LOL. IVE been porked just as bad on a new motorhome once, It really gets to ya after a while, hopefully it will come back mint & way better than you ever expected & they try to compensate you some how for all the bullshII. GOOD LUCK & LEAVE THE MATCHES AT HOME

Wait till I see the Factory REPS up at Americade in 3 weeks. I am going to give them an ear full They hate it when you talk trash in front of customers at a big Rally

Yea but you are not going to be talking trash, you are stating a fact of poor customer relations that happened on their part. Hard for them to deny. All they had to due was keep the customer informed and in the process.

Well Wed. Hannigan called and said the trike was on its way back to Coach Rice's:D A half hour later they called back and said it wasn't:confused: something about the ABS light was staying on:(

On Thursday I called and they said they had it finished and it was going back on the trailer and should be leaving for GA in about 30 minutes::drama:

Friday morning Coach Rice called and said he had the bike back and that it was road tested by him and everything was great, I could pick it up on Sat.:woohoo:

Picked it up a couple of hours ago. it's a nice job and I've only found a couple of things that could have been better. The pinstripe color doesn't match the original, close but one one is gray and the other silver. The rear running lights don't come on when running, only function as turn signals. The new tires are black wall and don't have the same thin white stripe that the front OEM does. (Am I being too picky?) They also kept my take offs, after I requested they ship them back with the trike.

Generally a good job,:goodjob: and I'm awfully happy to have my bike back after them having it for 11 weeks. :beerchug: But you can bet I won't give them a thumbs up for good service or customer relations.

I'll post a couple of pictures later but it's to pretty a day to sit here at the computer

Congrats on getting the Trike back. One question , by running lights are you referring to the amber lights by the license plate, or the lights mounted on fenders?

Like "tis" is asking, the amber lights look like they are the stock rear light bar and from Harley they have only a single filament bulb turn signal only. Some people modify them or use a voltage modifier so they act like a double filament bulb. So if that is a stock light bar it should run turn signals only. Ted

I'll tell you what I discovered. I blew a fuse on my running lights, what a hell of a time to change that out. I do have the Aqua Shields on my bike. So the lower screw that has to be removed that you can remove the panel to pull your sidecover is blocked by the aqua shield, and you can't get a screwdriver on it. I finally wedged a flat bladed screwdriver against the screwhead and turned the nut on the back. One thing you have to keep in mind is that you have to be stretched out on the ground if your traveling to do this. I'm going to figure out some way to move the fusebox, I don't usually blow fuses, but this was a blessing in disguise. On a brighter note, I had the Trike pinstriped yesterday and I'm loving it more.
