I recently bought a 2023 Harley Freewheeler. (I started to fall down too often on my Road Glide). I’m 77 years, 6’1” 250lbs.
I would like to replace the handlebars. These stock bars appear to be 10 to 11 inch tall. I haven’t found the actual size documented anywhere.
With the stock bars, pulled back; to keep closer, my hands/arms are at a downward angle. I would like to get the placement of my hands at shoulder height. 14” apes? As far as the electrical wires, I assume that I can lengthen them by splicing with new wire.
Here is my question:
The brake and clutch lines will need to be extended. How do I extend them, with out buying the whole expensive kits?
Money is the problem.
