Had another great day in Kansas

Finally a friend and I got out and went for ride. rode up to Wilson KS and then to Wilson lake 86 degrees.
Then down to Dorrance KS stopped old 40 bar had one???? miller lite the place was full of old bikers like myself.
Seen lots of riders out it was great.
Hope to get out again today.
Winter is not over in Kansas so better get it Dunn while we can.:clapping:

That reminds me of a story my friend told me a few years back, When I asked him what's it like out there, He said its so flat there that when his first Wife left him , It took her two days before she dove out of sight...

With my mom in the hospital going on a month now, I got a little throttle therapy too. It made it up to 65° yesterday. I rode out a little south of the hospital in a suburb of Kansas City. A friend has posted pictures of Bald Eagles just a few hundred feet from her home. I rode over to see them. As I left a mature Bald Eagle flew directly over my head. A hall of fame day!

Hi Jack, curious question: you stated you "had one??? miller lite", is this a normal occurrence to ride and have a drink and then get back on the bike? Reason for asking is, I belong to the local HOG chapter and their policy is absolutely no alcohol until the bike is parked for the day. i.e. motel, home, etc. I have always adhered to that philosophy and was wondering how others feel.

Please don't take this question as an offensive question, as I for one am one to let others do as they see fit, I am NOT a due good er!!

Not sure what we did out here to deserve this weather, but we've been in the upper 60's low 70's for the past week and supposed to continue for the next week or so other than one day of snow coming up on Wednesday. Been great to ride in this nice warm weather in February and even rode up in the mountains over the weekend. Not too far up mind you, just parts east of the continental divide where the snow is gone and the roads are clear except for some sand here and there. Glad I don't leave up in the northeast part of the country. They're getting slammed again.
