Greetings New FL/AZ Members Returning to Two Wheels & New to Three Wheels

Greetings All: Wife and I are MILVETS (Army and Navy, respectively) and have finally left multiple, full careers (military and others), as working stiffs behind us. Have relatives in OK who are long-time riders, some older ones with Trikes. Continue to turn wrenches. The childhood story goes I replaced a dead garbage disposal when I was 9 years old (as the "little man of the house") - my Navy Dad sadly passed when I was 6 YO, so you gotta do what needs to be done to help Mom out.

We've owned, or still own, all sorts of gas and diesel fueled rolling stock (mostly "tools") from tractors, trenchers, PU Trucks, Classic Muscle Cars, RVs, ATVs, Amphibs, Bikes, and now a retro Arizona Turquoise and Pearl White, Indian Icon Roadmaster based - Hannigan Trike (IRS).

Julie's a great "tool wife" - she totally gets the need for tools. E.g. she instigated hydraulic grapples on the 4x4 tractor, and also a hydraulic dump trailer - reasoning that we're not getting any younger, and need mechanical assist for maintaining forested land (any one say ~600 lb tree stumps?) increases as the days go on. Her wrist (a fall injury) is slowly disintegrating, despite best efforts of her Docs, so two-wheel handlebar and clutch operation are unfortunately out-of-the-question at this point...

...So she got an Indian Roadmaster Trike to get out on the road and enjoy America's great beauty - and I get to be the "Duty Driver" as we'd say in the military... I've got an Adventure bike too, but not as deeeluxe as the Indian/Hannigan trike.

This Plandemic disaster has impacted the builds of both our Roadmaster and the Hannigan trike mod, but we're finally after many, many, months delay - picking up THE TRIKE, and an Iron Horse trailer (rolling garage) over the CHRISTmas holidays - again you do what's gotta be done...

So that's the requisite story and Forum intro.

God bless you all in these trying times. As MILVETS we've always loved our country! Looking forward to contributing to, and benefiting from the great info and wisdom resident on this Trike forum!!!

Wishing All a wonderful CHRISTmas Holiday Season with family and friends, and Best of Health and Success in the coming New Year!
