I just joined Trike Talk today. I have been active on the GL1800riders forum for some time.My bike is a 2009, with Tow-Pac Kit, 5.5 degree Rake kit, Falken ZE912 195/55R-16 in the rear and a Michelin Pilot Activ running backwards up front. I have Centronic balancers front and back. Rear wheel has been powder coated. Just installed Traxxion Springs with fork rebuild (total miles on bike is now 10.5 K). Still working on the front end after having a lower pinch bolt break. Original Torque value according to the Roadsmith Instructions I received in April 2009 was 40lbs. I contacted them and they emailed the newer instructions which is 29 ft lbs. They didn't know how that mistake had been made. I also replaced the Air Filter and rebuilt the rear shock system.

Even tho my bike is only 2 years old with only 10.5K and I only weight 150, the pre-load did not start until 6. While I was at it, I replaced the standard hose with the Traxxion Stainless steel hose. I will also be installing the Traxxion Fork Brace Kit. I am looking forward to a much improved ride when I get it all back together.

Welcome to trike talk. You are in a nice area. I've been through there on business. I believe there was a Brooklyn or Canarsie deli there that made great sandwiches (can't remember which name it was. Canarsie is part of Brooklyn).

Nice to know some fellow Colorado Trikers are around! I just joined Trike Talk and am exploring "Triking" my 1800. Some of the same nice folks who wrote you also welcomed me. (nice people on this site)

Any recommendations for which Trike conversions to go with or quality installers in Colorado?

Best,
Al

Welcome to the forum. I have a "triked" scooter (a Honda Silverwing / Danson") I've been told that the Hannigan dealer in Windsor is definitely worth at least talking to.
