Got Mine!

picked up my 2013 Vivid Black TriGlide today. Great weather here in Oregon for it.

Probably one of the first things I want to do to it is get the cat removed. I found the one from Wild Pigs and I think I found a couple on eBay.

What do you guys think? Is one better than the other, or does it really make a difference?

Welcome to Trike talk. My 2009 didnt have a cat in it so I cant advise you. Congratulations! pepper

I went with Vance and Hines True Duals and Rush Mufflers. Runs better than it ever has. 2011 Cool Blue with a Power Comander V and a down load from Jammie at Fuel Moto I also installed a Big Sucker breather. Good luck and congrats on the new Trike.

Hang on to your old pipes with the cat in em. If they ever start checkin emissions on bikes, new cat pipes are very expensive. Better to pay a little for new head pipes now than to get hit with the cost of new cat pipes later.

I sawed my pipe in half and removed the cat, then welded it back together. Later I replaced it with V&H torque header and V&H mufflers. The wife did NOT like the noise so I put the stock mufflers back on.
