I guess what I am not understanding is, you are down loading to your computer. Then you edit on the computer ( what I do not understand ) Where do you down load it to and how do you get it on to Trike Talk ?

I download to computer and edit my footage into a video I want in edit software. Then I upload it to Vemio which is on the internet. People can go to Vemio and watch all kinds of videos people upload there. (like U-tube)
After it is uploaded to Vemio, it has some symbols on right side of video. A heart, a clock and one looks like an arrow. Click on the arrow to share video. One choice is embed. You copy that code and paste it here in your post and it shows up as that video in the post.

Checked it out $60 a year is more than I am willing to pay just to share a video. Must say it looks better than what U Tube looks like after they mess it up.

I did join to speed up uploading and more storage but I thought you did not have to pay for "basic" membership.

From what I read you can't share or use a portable device unless you join with full pro for $ 59.00 a year. Until then with basic you can only view. I might be reading it wrong. If I am check it out. I do like how clear the video is compared to what I get back to show on UTube.

Someone who uses U-Tube will have to respond on how to get HD on U Tube. Seems some have it and others do not and I know nothing about U Tube.

Picked up Power Direct 12 and have played a little with it....so far, like what I see.

Yep, planning to run both cameras at once. 1 on the lower front inside wheel mount and 1 mounted on the tour-pac facing backward. Trying to figure out how to "time sequence" the videos like you can do with regular film or video. Am very familiar with video editing and wish I could figure out how to do it with the GoPro. Then it would be a snap to switch back and forth from front to back views in editing.

Also picked up a couple of these so I DON'T have to worry about rain.

Remote power you have looks good. ThumbUp As I also have remote mic, I would still have hole in case. Have not had any problems yet. Having the remote power is nice.
I am still playing with edit software and like it. Think it will do what I need at this time. Looking forward to your "two" camera stuff when you figure out the edit stuff.

Myself, I have the GoPro extended battery packs on 2 of my cameras that I can run for a little over 4 hours. I shoot a lot of "time lapse" stuff so really can't address shooting straight video. I wanted more time thus the reason I bought the extended power backs.

As far as shooting all the time or stopping and starting, I usually turn 'em on and go.....'til the battery dies. You can do a lot of magic in the edit booth. I don't have enough duct tape to make somebody sit and watch 4-6hrs of video. Edit, edit.....

Couple of my friends shoot their rides using the 20 minute "looping" feature of the GoPro.

Another thought, resolution and frames per second have a big bearing on battery life also..

Forgot to add a little FYI to my last post. GoPro stuff is starting to show up in some of the strangest places. Was at a gun show over in Okla a couple weeks ago and found 3-4 different gun dealers with GoPro cameras and accessories mixed in with their inventory. Some close to retail but quite a bit $.10 on the $1.00. Tucked there between the boxes of 7.65x39 and 5.56x45 was a Brunton all-day power supply in the box....$20.00 ($50 retail).

So keep a close eye out if you're into these toys.

Need to update in this post.

Tried this set up on a ride thru SouthWest NM this past weekend. The continuous power worked great but my videos vibrated so much made my teeth hurt. Thought and thought about it for hours what could be going on. During the night it hit me. Look at the case set up. It utilizes the deeper back for the extended battery/LCD screen. There is nothing to hold the camera tight in the case, just a slight pressure of the cable.

I cut cut some foam thick enough to protrude about 1/8" past the edge of the door. This should hold the camera in place and eliminate the camera movement and the vibration.

am going to find some back roads and test it out this weekend.

The various color and numbers determine features and functionality.

White ones are the least functional, cheapest, then the silver, then the black.

The Black 3+ up thru the 4's are the best to keep it simple. Since the 4's came out the price of the Black 3+'s have dropped a little. The Black 3+ in my opinion are just as good as the 4's for the average Joe's needs.
