What do you use to remove something melted to your pipe? Something from the road got on my pipe and melted yesterday during my ride. I did not notice it until this morning now it wont come off.

Try GooGone and chrome polish. Many times, some of that stuff will just flake off; other times, it's like dynamite won't remove it.

If you don't have any GooGone, try WD-40. It works almost as well.

Keep at it; it will eventually come off.

Like stated above... Goo be gone... And it also comes in an spray can. Rub it a little at a time 'Spray again 'Don't try to remove the spot by rubbing too hard , Let the Goo be gone work its magic...

Good morning! I had many a time this problem...found a product that did wonders for removing without being abrasive. Kleen King Check it out, ordered a tube and it goes a ling way. Good stuff! 20160829_083504_HDR-1.jpg

I use WD40. Spray it on, let it sit for a minute or 2 and then LIGHTLY scrape with a razor blade. Follow up with chrome polish.
