Hi, new member here...I need help...I am looking to purchase a used goldwing trike and I need help...What should I be looking for in terms of year, model, mileage, and so forth...I am looking to spend 14-17 k and would like your opinions on what I should look for in the bike and also what to stay away from. welcome to TRIKE TALK you have found THE PLACE. Great folks here.IMO find one with as few miles as you can and with a conversion that has a dealer close to you.GOOD LUCK

Ditto the above. Also u should be able to get a 1997 or newer in that price range. The GW was all maxed out by 1995 ( all improvements were made ) Pre 1988 have no rev. 65,000 is low mileage for a wing anything under is a +. Check it as you would a car rear shocks ( do the bounce check) check tires deduct $200 if they need replacement soon. If he won't let u take it for a ride ask him to give you a ride.

welcome aboard. glad you found us. for your funding you are looking at the GW 1500. a very good machine. like john says are good areas to look at. i bought my daughters 97 1500 w 60k miles for 14k dollars 2 years ago and have been very happy with it. Good luck and shop well.
