gl1500 question

I have a aluminum knob directly behind my ignition key that I don't know what it does. There is no reference to it in the owners manual. I have seen pictures on here of other GW's with this knob, and others without. Could someone please tell me what this does ? Thx in advance. Its a 93 model.

Not factory. Someone installed rear speakers on your motorcycle. Chances are it does nothing. I had one and it failed. I soldered all the wires and eliminated it.

I have the same thing on my '96 and it doesn't even have any wire running to it.:xzqxz:
