GL1500 Parts

I have a 97 wing that need some TLC replacement parts. Will a seat for a 98 through 2000 fit? The part #'s are different in the micro fish. Will most of the parts exchange or were there major changes in 98?

Should fit. The colors changed and the pattern is different. 88 through 94 were thicker. That was the only real changes I know of. The 95 and newer are lower. Suspension was lowered and the seat is cut different.

Another change in '95 that was made to go along with the lower seat was the side covers were narrower. Both changes, along with the lower suspension, would help the inseam challenged to reach the ground easier. Like the seat, all year side covers will fit, but '94 and older will bulge out more. Something you may want to be aware of if just 1 side cover needs replacement.
