GL1500 Chrome Front Wheel

I am considering changing go a chrome front wheel for my GL1500 Goldwing (NOT Valkyire). So far, the only option I've come up with is getting the OEM wheel chromed (mine or exchange). I realize the 1500 is not exactly a current model with chrome wheels in high demand, but I'm wondering if anyone knows if there is a source for "aftermarket" 1500 chrome wheels with a more "jazzy" look to them.

I spoke with Renegade Wheels at Americade . They're coming out with chrome wheels for the 1800 Goldwing , but nothing for the 1500's. My front wheel was done at Classic Components in California. They were a little slow, but did a nice job.

I was going to suggest Performance Machine but as I look at their website it appears that they only do Harley now. They do have a metric section but you have to tell them what you have and then they will tell if and how much but my guess is 1200-1500 at least.

If you do decided to just have the OEM wheel chromed I'd also recommend Classic Components. They did my wheels for my '01 and when I traded for the '06 the wheels got transfered to the new bike. When I converted the wheels had over 100K on them and still looked GREAT.

If not chrome have you considered powder coating them?
There are some nice colors and the newer "chromes" are very nice.

Be nice to know if an 1800 front wheel (chromed is easier to find) could be adapted for the 1500 GW.Then it would match the "Motion"wheels on the rear of our CSC trike.
Years ago we adapted the 1500 front and rear wheels to the GW 1200's for better breaking because of larger rotors and calipers.Was an easy conversion.
