gl1100 conversion.

Sorry for the confusion.I presently own a 1981 gl1100 trike. I want to know if my rear trike set up would fit a gl1500. If it would fit is there a lot of modifying. thanks.

I'm confused. You say it's a 2000 model but that is the last year of the gl1500.

At any rate I would be surprised if the gl1100 and gl1500 have any compatible parts in the rear end.

welcome aboard Walter need a little more info. What conversion? What year was the conversion made? The years you list as others have stated do not match what displacement your are talking about. Maybe a pictures will help also.

Not the same. Doubt if anything will interchange between the two

First of all, Welcome to Trike Talk Forum. Your question has most of us confused. These are the years and models of the Honda Goldwing.

• 1974-1979 GL1000 Japan
  
• 1980-1983 GL1100 Japan/US
  
• 1984-1987 GL1200 US
  
• 1988-2000 GL1500 US
  
• 2001-Current GL1800 US/Japan
  

There may be some similarities in the GL1000, 1100 and 1200 models but the later models share few similarities. A picture would really clear things up.
