Apples to Oranges Here:Shrug:; Thats the way my Victory works... Also when i pull in the clutch at any speed the gear indicator will turn of in-till i release the clutch again...

My 11 Tri only has a 6Th gear indicator and it will turn off when the clutch is pull in...

Gear indicator does not read actual gear bike is in - it's a number generated by the computer comparing RPM and MPH. Disabled when bike is stopped or clutch pulled. All FWs do it, so yours is normal. You can mess it up (and your cruise control) by making too big of a tire size change.

This is correct.
