Gear Shifter Height

Hello everyone

Im new to the site and I recently purchased a 2015 freewheeler. I’m curious about the gear shifter height. How much distance should their be between the shifter and the top of your foot or is it just all about feel and personal preference. Thanks

The shifter levers are splined so you can set them to your comfort and ease

Joe, welcome. Some folks don’t use the heel shifter so they remove it. I always use mine but found there’s much more foot space with an extended lever. If you make any adjustments, be sure to torque the pinch bolts properly and check them occasionally. If the levers work loose, you will damage them and the shaft.
