For those that can't get an OEM oil filter, these are supposed to be to work in a pinch. Use at your own discretion, yada, yada.

That's a good list for anyone looking for a filter that physically fits. However, if anyone wants one intended for their particular application, such as a GL1800, one should look their application up in the filters' manufacture catalog. For example, I've had 3 PureOnes fail an oil filter pressure test after they have a couple of thousand miles on them. So will the Bosch 3300. Yes ... they physically fit, but the guts don't meet the needs of our engine. Not sure about all the rest of them, but the Purolators on the list are not intended for a m/c.
