Front Brake Light Switch Caution

In this picture, the finger is pointing to the spot on your Harley right front brake lever. If u r working on the handle bars, the switch half, or changing grips fold a match book cover in half, pull the lever and slide the folded piece into the crack where the finger is pointing to. This will engage the front brake light switch plunger ( it breaks very easily) so u will not break it. Now u know what it takes to work on the right side controls with out making a BIG BOO BOOO, disconnect the battery ALWAYS when working around electrical components, U will thank ur self later

Folded match book cover......Thats what we used to check the spark plug gap, Back when we all smoked and didn't have any money left over to buy a feeler gauge :D

LOL, yup, hard to find item few folks hand them out any more

I made a rubbing block for a friends Sporty in Rapid City in 1990

Good thing, it rained like a cow peein on a flat rock all the way to the dealer to get a set of points :laugh:
