Hi everyone! I'm brand new to the motorcycling world. I went to Black Hills Harley Davidson at the end of May and purchased a 2021 Freewheeler. I picked it up on a Saturday, spent two hours learning how to ride it on Sunday morning and then rode it 210 miles to my home in Montana. Whew! You can teach an old dog new tricks after all! Talk about thrilling, scary, wild and fun! I'm 64 and decided to get a bike because my best friend has two (a Harley and an Indian) and she does all sorts of fun stuff with our local women's bike club and I was feeling jealous and left out! Hence, my new Trike. However, I'm really wanting to take a Trike course before I join our bike club. But there's none in Montana! The closest classes I've found are in Colorado and Idaho. Looks like I'll be waiting until the Spring classes are posted. Anyway, I've really enjoyed reading different threads on your sight and have learned so much already! So, just wanted to say hello and I'm really excited to be here! Warmest Regards! Julie

Julie, welcome aboard. Sounds like you have a good start on mastering your Freewheeler. I am so proud of you for riding it home. If you and I lived closer together no telling what kind of trouble we could get into. I would be a bad influence for sure because I refuse to grow up. Ride safe and have lots of fun. I hope our paths cross someday.
