Free Power Vision & Stage I Air Cleaner to the First Milwaukee-Eight Owner...

Free Power Vision & Stage I Air Cleaner to the

First Milwaukee-Eight Owner Who Helps us Out.

We are looking for someone in the Memphis/North Mississippi area ... or someone that can spend two days in the area ... That has a Milwaukee-Eight, preferably a Trike.

If you will help us out, by letting us fit a Stage I Air Cleaner to your trike, along with a Power Vision Flash Tuner, we will give both of these items to you, at no charge.

We will also want to do some Before & After Dyno Runs (you will get copies of the sheets), and do some temperature testing (we will Not overheat it).

You are welcome to observe as we fit the parts, and do the dyno runs.

Please contact me at Kevin@DKCustomProducts.com or call 662-252-8828 if you are able to help us out.

Jack showed up with his Freewheeler.

We spent the day finishing out 6 different prototype air cleaners for the M8.

Got the Power Vision hooked up.

Tomorrow we'll be all day on the dyno testing out the different air cleaners and tunes.

:)

Whose Dyno

Glad you found you a 17 Trike to play with. Sounds like a fun day for you Saturday. Who in your area has got a trike dyno? Going to Southaven, Olive Branch or Memphis? Have you ever met or talked with Gary Williams from Rankin County out from Jackson?

Yep, should be a very interesting day. Leaving out in a few.

Southern Thunder has a Trike Dyno, Bumpus Collierville does NOT, but Bumpus Whitten does.

We are going to a local shop, in Olive Branch, by the name of Nans. Unfortunately he has shut down and has his dyno up for sale...but until he does sell it, we give him a call and he lets us use it.

Don't recall ever meeting Gary.

Ok Kevin and Jack, I am dying to know what the stock M8 numbers were and how much you were able to bump up the power/torque with the Stage 1 kit??? I am sure that you are both very whipped from a long day of testing. Curious minds would like to know how things are at least progressing?

Kevin posted his initial findings on the Freewheeler forum here. They are in the process of analyzing the data from 49 dyno pulls and will have some more definitive findings on their tune and Stage 1 upgrade to Jack's FW shortly. Hooray for Jack and the DK gang!

Small report can be seen at this thread-

Devin has all the data on a flash drive. Tomorrow or Tuesday I will sit down and look at all 49 pulls...both the numbers and the curves.

We'll then do some overlays and get them posted up by the end of the week.

I really only remember two numbers-

1. The first pull we did with the first Stage I air cleaner...still had the stock tune in it, produced an 11.94% increase in power...and the #'s just went up from there.

2. I also remember the first pull that we hit 100 ft. lbs. of torque....it sticks out because it was on an air cleaner that I thought would not do so great, and it turned out to be one of the best....go figure. :)
