I put a frankenstein kit on a 2008 low sporty for my wife and I used the shocks that were included in the kit, they are a little stiff and I was wondering if anyone had and ideas for a little bit smoother ride. I know it`s a sporty conversion but maybe just a LITTLE smoother!!!!!! thanks

Just a thought have you contacted Frankentein and asked for there opinoin?

Maybe they could help you out??

Good Luck

Suggest dropping the tire pressure to 20 and see how it feels. 20 to 22 should improve the ride. That thing does weigh much so less tire pressure should do it. I run 24 on my 1200 lbs trike. I bet yours does weight much over 800.

Torchman, my trike builder (Champion solid suspension on a Fat Boy) recommended I drop my rear tire pressure to 17-18 psi. I ride solo and am a petite woman. As long as I keep it there, the ride is comfortable. If it gets up into the 20s, it is much rougher.

thanks guys I will try dropping the tire pressure and see what happens. It`s a great looking bike just need to make it a little nicer to ride.
