fog lights 0n 2006 goldwing 1800

We just bought a 2006 goldwing 1800 (proud of our new baby) with a brand new motortrike kit. No where in the owners manual can we find how to turn on the fog lights. I guess they are fog lights, they are in the bottom front and I can't figure out how to turn them on. Can someone help?

It should be the same as mine on the left beside hazard button , must be running to work. Have FUN

Yes that's right Oleman. Just beside the hazard button. Sometimes these lights are not set properly and they blind the rider in front via their mirrors. Check them with a friend before running with them

It's not a bad idea to spray a little contact cleaner around those switches once in a while. They tend to stick. Right after I got my 04 - 1800 the hazard light stuck and would not shut off so the contact cleaner did the trick. I've been told you should do it every 6 to 12 months.

yeah, found the lights and they worked fine for a while. When I push the button in, it doesn't always stay in, so when it pops out, the lights go off. Do I need to install a new switch or is there some trick to this?

As others have said, spray the switch with contact cleaner or dielectric grease.

If that doesn't do the trick then you may have to replace the switch OR simply take it apart and clean it.
