New guy here, been lurking around for a bit, figured I should join. Don't know much about trikes, but been working on & building 2 wheelers for almost 40 years. Got arthritis in my hands and a bad back, but still riding a hardtail (at least for now but don't know how much longer).

Wife had a stroke a while back and I think she would be much safer on 3 wheels, so figured I would build her a trike. I got a old 92 Springer Softail setting in the Garage that I can use as the start. If she doesn't want to ride it when I am done, I will, so its a win win for me.ThumbUp

Looks like a lot of knowledge on is board and I appreciate all the info that I have already gotten in the short time I have been here.

Welcome to Trike Talk from SE Missouri. Good luck on the trike build and hope everything goes well for you. There's alot of us with knee and back problems but we still love riding and the trike helps us do that. Ride safe and have fun.:wave4:
