No it will never be your FLHTC. And your TriGlide will never dump you on your butt because your knee gave out when coming to a stop. Your Three wheeler will also not demand as much of your fading situational awareness that happens gradually as you age. Your three wheeler will allow you to ride farther into old age then your FLHTC will. Your knees and hips will bless you. You will still be able to get the wind therapy you thought you were going to lose when the doctor told you your medical condition would no longer allow to ride. Your wife may feel safer riding with you on three wheels. Yes there are alot of things your three wheeler will never be but there are also a lot of things your two wheeler will never be also.

I’m on my 2nd TG with about 25000 miles. We did 3000 miles in 6 days last year so I am pretty well versed on it by now. We did the Cabot trail and a Gaspe coast as well on the 14. The 21 is way better though.

Each to their own I guess but that's one reason I LOVE my Tri-Glide - the twisties and switchbacks!! They're a BLAST to take on a Tri-Glide!! Once you get use to it you can take them a lot faster than most 2-wheelers (remember I said most). Most had a hard time staying with me riding Beartooth last summer. Yes, it's different - you don't lean - you turn (although I still lean in the seat just for the fun of it). Like I said - each to their own - but for me the twisties are a hell of a lot of FUN!!!!

The trike is more of a chore to handle for sure. My Electra Glide was way more fun and way better handling than my trike but , necessity is what it is. I will had rake eventually to help the steering, suspension is probably almost maxed out for improvement. Seat & bars are just about perfect. Lean angle sucks, I still lean in curves and twisties and Mrs Notgrownup does as well and it does make a difference. It will never be like my FLHTC.
