Got the Road Glide/Champion out last evening for a quick test ride. Still have the EZ Steer, the Fullsac "X" pipe, and Reverse to install. Riding it down to the painter's shop tomorrow so he can plan the paint to match the Screaming Eagle paint. I didn't install the tour pack as the body has to come back off for the paint. I need to adjust my shift buttons (Klicktronic), check rear tire pressure (forgot it) and maybe adjust rear shock preload. I added in 1/4 inch of preload before I installed the wheels, probably should have left it alone. I'll have to adjust the rider's backrest, it's holding me too far forward. Overall gearing is a little too low, I think I'll change the rear tires back to original size (205 - 70) from the 60 series that's on it. The 30T transmission sprocket and the 110" engine combo seems like it will pull the taller tires easily. Speedo was about 11 mph off at 70mph (GPS). The tires will help this, plus the tuner I'm going to install can be used to correct the mph. Still a lot of work and adjusting to do but it was sure nice to get a few miles on it anyway.

Rode again this morning. Much better ride, rear tires had 37psi from the factory. Moved the rider backrest back as far as I could, now much more comfortable. Still a lot to do.

11 MPH off ? So u are doing 81 and it is only doing 70 or you are doing 70 and really doing 81 . Either way that is not good ( ticket or get rundid over .)

81 to run 70 John, fairly easy fix so I'm not too worried about it. Missus would be pounding on me all of the time if I didn't fix it:wtg:
