Just Traded my 2011 Road Glide Ultra for a 2017 Tri Glide , before that came off a 2003 Ultra Classic ....Trike is definitely a different ride but enjoying the learning experience ...One thing that I miss from My Road Glide is the wind protection .....a lot more wind comes up between Fairing and Lowers, so much more so that when I just wear a shirt not tucked in , it flaps around around like laundry on a clothesline on a windy day :) Before I bought my Tri Glide ,I was hoping that HD would introduce a Road Glide Trike this year . Anyone have any suggestions on a wind deflector that would reduce that wind??

Albert, welcome to Trike Talk from Illinois, can't help, but be patient, there are plenty of members here that can. I've never owned a Tri. so can't advise.

Welcome aboard!...Freewheeler owner here but hang tight, I betcha your answer is on the way soon ThumbUp congrats on the Tri, pictures ?? soon I hope :clapping:

Lifted Fuel tank

I agree way to much air so I lifted tank in front 2" and rear 1/2" made a huge improvement for me. This also puts more air on motor runs a little cooler. Makes rocker boxes easier to polish and keep clean. DK Customs among a few others here have lift kits available from their website. Also I really like the air deflectors just developed this summer, they really ended the glasses dance for me. ThumbUp ride safely fred

Ask for Jim ,he has an after-market that mounts under the forks, like the old style HD used to have. I think it was like $45. Just found the site that makes them. They have a lot of diff stuff.

Congrats on your new ride, and Welcome to the forum!

Yep, Trikes are a bit different, but can be a ton of fun!

Here is a LINK to a wind deflector that will also cool your engine down, rather than heat it up.

Welcome aboard! I put the DK 1.5" front tank lift on mine and also their new air deflectors, did help reduce the air buffeting over the tank.
Another thing to look at (if you have not done so already) is a rear lift kit, improves the steering and prevents some of the muffler drag that can be an issue.
Enjoy the trike and remember your rear is now about as wide as your outstreched arms!
