Finally Spring

Well it's finally here epper:, It's suppose to be 60 today here in Michigan, the cover is off the trike and can't wait to put it on the raod today. Unfortunatly mother nature is sending us back to cold again starting tommorow. But today we will enjoy. I hope everyone gets a chance to enjoy the sun and ride today.

Not here in NH, like I wrote in the Chat Room, snow last night and freezing rain right now @ 34 F.
Spring is but a memory here in NH. Had major rain and I have leaks in my cellar wall which causes several little streams of water to head towards the drain hole in the cellar. Tried to wet vacuum last night, but was way too much water, so I gave up and we will try again today. Tried working on the trike, but had to concentrate on the water, so didn't get much done.

Yup! Had a good 6" of wet snow Saturday night. Suppose to be in the 50's today, but even if the roads are clear I won't take mine out until we have at least two really good gully washer rainstorms to wash the salt off the roads. I value my trike more than to get salt dust all over it and in to crevices...

Supposed to hit 70 here in Central VA today and 80 on Wednesday.

After that, it takes a dive again, lol.

Sorry you're having so much trouble with water Rosy. Been there, know what that's all about. It cost us a fortune to eliminate our problem. Hope you have a better day today.

65 here in good ole central Illinois, sunny, but pretty windy. Still got in a nice little ride. Got the trike last July and in spite of the weather; have ridden at least one day each month since. If it's 35 or so and not wet or snowy, I took her out......just can't stay off of it!!! Most of the country roads I like to ride never see a salt truck, so that's not been a problem, luckily.

Today was what we hope was the last of the bad weather.

7:00 AM rain heavy at times, 8:30 small hail and freezing rain, 10:00 snow we got about 3.5 inches, temps around freezing, 3:00 sun comes out and by 6:00 most of the snow is melted.

Good part is no one used salt,brine mixture on the roads.

Weather forecast for the next few days is warm with some sun & clouds. Of course none of them forecast any snow last night for today!

And I know why I refuse to live up north and love Central Texas! I got my bike triked back at the first of Feb. this year and have put 3,000 miles on it since then. Now I am sure when it is 100' plus down here for July and August, you guys and gals will just laugh at us, as we are sweating it out or staying in the house because it's to hot! I guess it's all relative to our adjustments, right?
