Finally Found My Trike Project

Now What?

For years I've said. "If I can find an Ed Roth VW Trike, that's been sitting in some guy's backyard since the Reagan administration, (and the price is right) I'm buyin' it!"

It finally happened. Picking it up this Tuesday. But boy, is it gonna need some lovin. Completely disassembled. And been exposed to the elements. (California desert elements thankfully.)

So get used to me. Haha.

I'm gonna be around awhile.

Thanks guys.
I'll post some pics after I get this thing home tomorrow. Its pretty spectacularly tore up.
But it does have it's original blue California plate which the DMV says I'll be able to keep. It seems as though it's all there. And at some point was properly built.

Hi Dave and welcome to the forums from Florida, looking forward to some pics.

They might be too large in file size Dave, resize them and give it a go, if I remember correctly they have to be under 2 meg in size.

Actually, it can be frustrating uploading pictures.

An easy way to get around this issue is to use one of the free image hosts. A couple are Photobucket: www.photobucket.com

or Imgur: http://imgur.com/

Just upload the images to one of them after creating an account. Then you'll see a "share" or something of that sort that will give you a direct link to the image. Just copy that and paste it right into the post your currently working on.

I believe that TrikeTalk converts the link right into the image and will then be visible.

Yep, going to be a great project, now I understand why you said it was in boxes, lol.
