Fenders/Guards

I just joined the site.
Does anyone know where to find fenders to add to my VW trike?
And how about guards around the engine?
The DMV in Connecticut failed my inspection because I did not have them

I used boat trailer fenders from northern tool mail order catalog.
No engine guards though.

My fenders are a pair of shortened 9" wide trailer fenders. Can you post a couple pics of your trike? That'd help us point you in the right direction.

As for an engine guard, you can buy those any place that sells sand rail and/or dune buggy parts and accessories. Or, if you know someone with a tubing bender and welder, you can have one built to your own specs.
