OK all.... who has been hit by the big storm this weekend? We actually got off easy with only 3-4 inches (see my house and yard this morning in the picture). Folks just 10 miles north of us got about a foot of snow, and I understand DC area will be digging out for a month! But then there is Vancouver, needing snow for the Olympics, but having mild, spring-like weather!!!!

We have about 6" on the ground right now and expecting another 4". Snowplow hasn't been by yet so our road is pretty well snowed in. Only one vehicle has driven past all morning. Up to my %ss in global warming!!!!

GLOBAL WARMING????? Is that what you call this? Maybe Al Gore will personally come and shovel your drive, Greydog. I'd respect his Nobel prize then.... LOL!

We got about 7" here in central Indiana. Gotta a fella coming today to look at purchasing my 06 MVIN Trike. So had to do some shoveling to get to the garage. Triker Myrt (wife) did the shoveling. I am blessed. Wish me luck?

We have 12" in Shark River Hills, N.J.. And it's still coming down. And 30 miles away NYC has nothing. Miles is making the best of it, Bella my brothers Boston is smaller and does not like the snow at all:mad:
I got some shots, this first one is out the front door

This is the height at the back door where the dogs go out

The plows have been around, the snow is still coming down. Looks like time for a big old pot of chili!!!

Here in SW Kansas, we've had 3 seperate storms come through in 15 days, for a total of 13". It has melted probably 80%, but have a fourth storm moving in tomorrow afternoon.

Here in the desert, it's rain, rian, rain. We're gonna rust!! After running some errands yesterday, I went out about 4:30 to put the rain cover on the seat & it was just starting to rain. So far, we've had .24" since then. OK, now to you who live where it rains & snows, that isn't much, but for us, it's a whole bunch! I told someone I thought we only had about 2.5" for all of last year. I was wrong! According to the closest official rain gauge, we had a whopping 1.11" FOR THE WHOLE YEAR!! Right now, we're setting at 2.40" already for the year. We're gonna have a BEAUTIFUL spring 'cuz the desert will be in full bloom this year! It's kinda nice seeing all your pictures of the snow, but I'm glad I'm here. Does it snow here? Yes -- once about every 7 or 8 years! It's funny, someone mentioned it's time for a big pot of chili. Today is the annual Chilly Cook Off at our local Harley Dealer, so if you can get here in the next hour or so --- !! If the usual entrants are participating this year, I can guarantee you'll find chili out there that WILL WARM yer innards -- for the next couple of days!

Right there with ricle41 down here in SW MO. Series of stroms coming through the area. :gah: And we moved down here from Minnesota to get a lot longer riding s3eason but still have seasons change. :( Gloria is about ready to strap a snow shovel on the front of the truck, head south and not even think about stopping until folks start asking,"What's that funny lookin' shovel for?"

Gee Nana those shots look unbelieveable to an Aussie,I would love to experiance it ( SNOW ) If You ever get Downunder I will show you the Red earth country where the Red Kangaroo's stand 7 feet tall and the Gorges are full of Barramundi ( Fish ) and the odd Croc, Being a tour coach driver I know this country well shown it to plenty of American's in my time Vastness that you have never dreamed of Traveling into the aboriginals Dreamtime and campfire stories told by Aboriginal elders, Vastness so huge some american's have trouble taking it in, What if I told you that Western Australia was so vast that you can fit the state of texas into it Four times and that some of the cattle statios are over 700 square miles in size, yes I am Proud and love the sunburt county. I would be proud someday to show it to you

Here in PA, we have 13 inches.

And would you believe, I spent the day out looking for snow tires for the trike and no luck.

One guy even had the nerve to tell me I had no business riding in the snow anyway.

I am in northeast ohio this weekend and from what I can see,we didn't get much up here. My home is in central ohio and the wife said they got about a foot. The weather site said it was suppose to snow until wed. or thurs.

Here in NW Ct we got nothing. It has not snowed in weeks. BET total for all this winter is less than a foot. ( that is in 4 snow storms ) But OMG is it C O L (burrrr) D If the temp. stayed in the 30s during the day light hours , I could have ridden all winter.

Watch it John - winter isn't over yet!! Don't want Mother Nature making a U-turn to come back and "share" with us!! ;)

Total snowfall here in Somerset, PA was 31.8" in less than 24 hours. The weather forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday is another 6+ inches. I don't know where we are going to stack it all at.

We aren't anywhere near the lake, but we are supposed to get anywhere from 3-6 inches more tomorrow and wednesday. Sucks, doesn't it!!!!!

Looking out the window of the office this morning, it looked like we got about 1/2 an inch between 8:00am and 10:00am. The roads were clear and dry by noon, and not even a trace in the grass by 2:30pm.

I live in the south because I had to shovel that white stuff when I was a teenager living in the suburbs of Buffalo, NY. I had enough of it then.

Did you all send this stuff down here?

5" snow and we are paralyzed. All county roads are closed.

26 degrees this morning?

Have I moved?

Well here in Sunny Atlanta area, we are snowed in and all the freeways[almost all] are shut down, people here think they need to drive 70 mph, lol, not today, grinn.

I am snowed in and can't go to work today, it is amazing here, white stuff everywhere, my dogs love it,

:yay:

On the 11th we got over 12 1/2" in 24 hours. Thats in an area that normally does not get any snow. That set a new record for DFW. I'M READY FOR SPRING.

The weatherman, last night, said there is snow in 49 of the 50 states. Only Hawaii was spared.

I know I alreA

That's why I live where I do! Had enough of that white crap when I was growing up on a dairy farm in NW MO where the driveway HAD to be open for the milk truck. We had about 1/8 mile to keep clear. Usually it drifted in around barns, so first job was to dig out tractor & one section about 100 yds long that piled in about arm pit deep. Way too deep for the tractor to be any help. Here, in the desert, we get snow about every 7 or 8 years, but it's nearly always gone by noon. We can see snow up in the mountains & that's plenty for me!! Oh, -- it's a nice 50* @ 10:00 AM, headed for 65 today.

Mooresville Nc has had more than our share. We had a 6 inch snow and then a 2 inch snow and coupled with cold weather! Makes me want to move back to San Diego.
