To all the wonderful people On this site, thanks for all the advise and help. I traded my 16 trike for a CVO Ultra, could not do the 3 wheels any longer. I gave It almost 14000 miles, long road trips, and a really good effort to justify riding on 3.

I am back on 2 and couldn't be more happier.

I did the same thing when I had a 2011 TriGlide. My knees got better and I went back 2 wheels. Now my knees aren't so good now and I'm Friggin Old. I'm back to the trike. I think I'll stay. Congrat's on the new CVO.

You gotta do what you gotta do. Good luck and ride safe!

Well don't think you can't stop by and say hello once and a while I would like to see your new ride, your miles and experience will always be welcome around hear I believe you know that so Photo shoot that CVO and let's us see the two wheel world also. Ride safe keep the shiney side off the road and ride often.:( Fred

Toying with the idea

I keep looking at the new softail with the 114 cu engine .................. :D What scares me is my servicing dealer has one with my name on it. :gah: Now that the Heritage has cruise from the factory along with the suspension up grades it is looking very doable. When the time comes that I absolutely need a trike, I'm only a 3 hr ride from Zooks shop in Conroe.

I wouldn't go back for all the tea in China. I'm having a ball on the TG. I would like to have a 2nd bike that was a 2 wheeler. Thinking on the Honda Ruckus=cheapest new 2 wheeler I can find that I would have a ton of fun riding. :D I almost bought one a couple weeks ago. Then I thought about insurance and plates/stickers etc. and changed my mind.

The only thing I can't do on my TG vs a 2 wheeler is lean.

My right hip is starting to go south on me, plus my job isn't very secure so I probably wouldn't be able to afford a TG when I would really need it.

Once past 70 it gets harder to wrestle around an 800+ lbs. bike.

As desertclassic appropriately said, if it wasn't for the TG, I'd be riding a cage. Thank you Harley for the TG.

Good luck on your CVO and hope you have many years of safe riding - smiling all the way. (Yes)

Looks like you have my Trike. I have one the same color. Purchased 8/12/17. After riding 2 wheels for 60 years, time for a change. So far I love it, once I learned how to drive it. 981 miles:clapping: in 8 days, and never went anywhere. Just did my 1000 mile service.

Congrats on your new ride. We would love see it!! "A guy's gotta do........." I have had some mighty good times in years past on two wheels.

I bought mine 8/7/2017 in the Black Hills. Rode it home after the rally. Had 1025 miles when I got home. I have over 2050 miles on it now. Looking at the 2018's colors, I'm glad it bought a 2017. :clapping::clapping:

I'm like Casper, if my wife didn't want to ride with me all the time I would go back to 2 wheels in a heartbeat. It isn't that I don't' enjoy riding the TG because I really do, but I miss a regular bike sometimes. If money was no object and I had more room I would probably have a WG along with the TG.
