Is having the forks raked the same as having ez steer? Probably a dumb question, but have a guy that is interested in my trike, and he asked the question and I don't know the answer. Thanks in advance.

Yes that is what EZ steer is. Just the brand name of a rake kit.

In a way, it is.
Actually these kits should be called trail kits kits, as the trail is what is changed adding one!
To change the rake, the angle of the steering neck of the frame requires change as is done with the TriGlides and most "choppers"
