External breather

I would like to vent breathers externally. I talked to the dealer I am buying my trike from and found this is not as easy as it was 17 years ago on my 2006 XL1200L. Is there a kit available that can be used with the stock air cleaner? I was told that changing the air cleaner would require a tuner or the engine would run to lean. The tuner and air cleaner would be close to 800.00 dollars. Any help is appreciated.

First, Congrats on your New Ride! :clapping:

The M8's do not run too lean. You will not need a tuner, even if you change to a Free Flowing Intake And Exhaust.

That said, we do have External Breather Systems that will work with your OEM Intake. Give an email or call if you have any questions.
