she haemorrhaged today and is facing surgery tomorrow morning.
you just cant take good health for granted, we live a fairly healthy lifestyle and are 51 and 50 respectively.

Sitting outside recovery room waiting for a result. Elise is having a procedure after 3 days of heamoraging and transfusions. Hoping for a good result. I am full of hope for a situation in which I can't control. Its a strange feeling

a good result, the bleeding has all but stopped. shes been topped up with 2 more units of blood and seems to be doing well.
As a veteran card carrying whole blood and plasma donor, its great to see the blood service working for people.
