Of course the "Green Peace" wizards haven't given it a thought. What about routine traffic jams in NY?

Snow, Traffic Jams, and Electric Cars.

Can we show a little forethought and practicality? Please?

Has anyone thought about it?

If all cars were electric ... and were caught up in a three hour traffic jam...dead batteries! Then what?

Not to mention, that there is virtually no heating in an electric vehicle.

And if you get stuck on the road all night, no battery, no heating, no windshield wipers, no radio, no GPS (all these drain the battery) !!!

You can try calling 911 to bring women and children to safety!

But they cannot come to help you since all roads are blocked and the socialist green weenies will probably require all police cars to be electric also (if we still have police departments then) !!!

And when the roads become unblocked no one can move! Their batteries are dead and they cannot move.

How do you charge the thousands of cars in the traffic jam? (That is a business I think I'd like to look into. Drones to deliver heavy batteries and someone to remove and install.)

Same problem during summer vacation departures with miles of traffic jams.

There is virtually NO air conditioning in an electric vehicle. It would drain your battery quickly.

This will make cars run out of "fuel" and create never ending traffic jams, not to mention high tempers.

No socialist bent reporter talks about this of course!

You can't even call in horses to rescue you. The Socialists are against horses and cows who defecate.

Wouldn't it be easier to just get rid of the socialist politicians who are trying to help China's economy?

Annnnnnnnnd...... Don't you wonder how many coal fired new electrical plants we will need to provide enough electricity to charge all those EVs? Then, of course, our current grid doesn't have the capacity to get the electrical power out to the point of usage. I wonder how much Biden's plan for electrical charging stations will cost US?. (Remember, EVs don't pay road tax that is part of the cost for fossil fuels). Having an EV sounds great as long as none of my neighbors get one too. As soon as 10 of us have one the local transformer will be overloaded when we try to charge..... Jim

How rude of you to ever dare to ask these kind of questions you global warming ecoterrorist. What are you, a anti-environmental terrorist or something worse? Green weenies already have more questions that they can't answer already without you adding more to that ever growing list you know. :xzqxz::blush:;)

Also it takes 8-20> hours depending on size of vehicle to charge one of those EV's. But people do need to keep asking these kind of questions out loud all the time. Oh, one more question. Like the millions of metric tons of nuclear waste rotting away in metal barrels at the bottom of the oceans and in land fills waiting for the next environmental disaster to happen just where or how are the greenie weenies plan on disposing of the hundreds of millions upon hundreds of millions of spent very toxic acid batteries from all of the EV's the world over? Those spent batteries are not going to just go away by themselves and then who's going to pay for their disposals.? Hmmmmmmmm??

I do not believe the support network for EV will ever get the input it needs, not without the Green New Deal crushing all of America

Keeping in mind the battery technology is not good enuff to support the demand, let alone techs who are up on how to repair the vehicles when they break down, and they will

hundreds of millions of spent very toxic acid batteries from all of the EV's the world over

How true Jake. Lithium is a toxic substance, so disposing of it responsibly will be a problem also.

These ideas are just more 'misinfo' the green dunderheads don't want to talk about.

PC

'Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain'. Seems very applicable here.

The electric car is coming....And we can't stop it....What might slow it a little is after China invades Formosa....AKA Taiwan...Then the politicians will have more to worry about...[Computer chips' Batteries' And Rare-earth]...
