Dyno at Fort Thunder harley in Moore Oklahoma

Any body have their trike dyno tuned at Fort Thunder Harley Davidson in Moore Oklahoma? Currently have V&H power duals, RC component 4" mufflers, Screamin eagle heavy breather air intake, GMR 577 cams, and power vision tuner with wideband O2 sensors. I'm not convinced the power vision tune is a good tune, I kept getting VE's above 127.5 and the PV scaled until it has my engine at 121 CU. Also will easily get head temps to 300* and EIMTS kicking in at red lights.

Fort Thunder HD is about 185 miles north of me and the closest Dyno that can hold a trike. Think it may be worth having it dyno tuned if they do a real dyno tuning. Not worth it if they just drop a canned tune. I might be willing to go to a TTS if they do a quality dyno tune.

Anyone have experience with Fort Thunder tuning with either PV or TTS?

Thanks,
Ken

I have the PV on my '12, & with the autotune & I am quite happy with the PV. Head temps around 300*f aren't too bad. I wouldn't worry until around 400* with head temps.

I also run the FCS fans & with a stock 103ci cam I run around 240*.

With the fans off I can hit 300* quite easy.

If you can get with someone familiar with the PV tuning you'll like it ! Also I really like those fans ! They do a great job !

Too true about the real dyno tuning ! Too many places use their dyno just for advertisement ! Whoever is brave enough to strap a bike down instantly becomes their expert tuner !

:Agree:I also have the Ward's Fans and the Power Vision Tuner and love them both! I have a 2013 Trike w/120r Crate Motor and the PV done an awesone job of getting the tune right. I have several riding buddies that purchased the PV on my experience and i helped them get familiar with performing their auto tune sessions and we got their bikes tuned to their satisfaction.

The Trike is an adreniline rush when you twist the throttle!

Good Luck with your PV, once you get familiar w/the tuner you will love it!!
