Drilled Mufflers

Did you use a hole saw? Looks to be about 1". Did you do this before you put the true dual headers on? Just wondering what difference it might make with stock headers. Great mods BTW.
Center punched them & used a unibit 1" it just lets the bike breath better, try it if you do not like it put a 5/16 bolt nut & two big washers to fill the hole. It sounds really good to me

Was the purpose of drilling the hole for sound only or did the trike have a low rumble bogged down noise when under load. That is the issue I have had since install in 2017. I hear that the style of exhaust that was put on back then has since been changed by CSC to a different design that does not give that bogged down sound but over 1K to change it out since the body has to come off. At least that is what I was told.
Thinking this may be a fix as long as it does not effect any backpressure.

I think it will affect backpressure, I feel mine runs better, has less heat , sounds a lot better, get a unibit drill try it ,if you do not like plug the hole, it might cost you $10.00 to plug the holes with 2 5/16 bolts and a couple of large fender washers . it did not affect the tune. I removed the disc's in the muffler's & tried to make some baffles I had work it sounded like shit.
