Hi Jae, Welcome to Trike Talk

A bit more info on your trike will be needed to help you out
What kind of Trike kit, engine and transmission type etc

thats the thing i have no clue its has 1 cylinder only 1 gear centrifugal clutch i bought it from a friend but all i know is that its a drift trike unfortunately

Like what my kneesbehurtin said the inner part of the clutch that sits on the shaft most likely is keyed to keep from spinning.

You would have to take whole clutch assembly off the output shaft of the motor.
In the shaft should be a slot for the key to slid into the shaft to hold the clutch from spinning on the shaft.

This key is to protect the motor output shaft from twisting from an event like you said happened.

Knock the broke key out purchase a new one and reassemble the drive gear.
Should be able to do it yourself.

GOOD LUCK and welcome aboard

Broken ( sheared) key, take this apart, check the key way for damage, you may have to dress it with a file

If the new key you will be inserting fits loose try some loc tite on it

Good luck and do check back in
