Does the Freewheeler have an accessory switch?

I installed Love Jugs Cool Masters today. I haven't wired it yet however. If I connect the harness to the accessory plug behind the left side cover, how would I turn them on? Is there an accessory switch on a FW? Thanks for any info. The instructions have much to be desired.

Hey Ron, i too have the cool masters on my 15' Freewheeler and directly wired to be on when the ignition is in the on position. It runs the whole time, all the time. You can turn them off...but why  good luck and I'm sure that your going to love your Love Jugs!

Thanks Randall. It is plenty hot here in Texas to keep them on all the time. But I mainly plan on using it for road trips, motocamping and the like. I will be generally not be in stop and go or slow traffic.

It looks like harley offers an accessory switch and harness at a reasonable price. I will call the dealership Monday and get advice. Thanks again for the input.

Ok, I'm feeling pretty stupid right now. I didn't know there was an on/off switch on each fan until I happened to watch a video I hadn't yet seen on installation. I guess in my defense the switches are recessed and quite small. And without my reading glasses I never noticed them. Anyway, problem solved. I'm connecting directly to the battery as the 8 pin harness adapter doesn't fit the accessory plug.

It's all good, I did the same thing trying to figure out how to turn them on after they were installed. Let us know how it goes :goodjob:

Just Installed the Mighty mites on my 2015 Free wheeler

Just installed the Mighty-Mite fans with the 8 ping plug adapter on my 2015 Freewheeler and surprise that power plug under left side cover is hot all the time? Plugged it in and fans came on; Key fob was in the house, bike is in the barn? I guess I thought it was switched?

The fans do have a visible on off switch but; Now anyone can flip on my fans and run the battery down???:(
