Celebrate those that answered the call and made the sacrifice against tyranny.
June 6 1944, when some good ole boys took a boat ride across the Channel.
A lot of good Yankees, Brits, Scots, Irish, Canucks, French, etc. etc. lost their lives starting the liberation Europe that day.
But a special remembrance to the brave Americans that answered the call.
A somber salute to them all!

Before my Father and Mother in-law passed, we made sure that our daughters heard the stories of what it was like during WWII and Grand-dad's Army service.
History needs to be passed on to succeeding generations.
