Those of you that know me from the VTXOA and VTXcafe as well as hdforums and other forums that I make most of my own stuff instead of buying when I can.
I am 5'7" with a 29 inch inseam and a DAV so I have more than one handicap. The only big thing that is a problem for me is the wide engine on the GW. With me being a DAV and short I have a problem finding something that will work for me. So I went to the shop and looked around to see what I had that I wasn't using. I found a cruise peg mount I made for a Victory cross county. I was trying to use the kuryakyn mount with a 4 inch length arm. It wasn't working so well so I put the 2 together to have 2 adjustments. With the angle of the victory mount to fit the rider comfortably. The photos will show a lot more than any words I can add.

As you can see it allows the peg mount to sit under the heads of the engine. The kury mount allows for up and down adjustments. I have it up as far as I would suggest due to the shifter and brake interference. I have no interference as it is. I can use it 3 ways now. foot on pet/ heel on peg mid on the cruise peg/ feet on cruise peg. I have used it for several hundred miles now and it works like a dream. I use the locking caps that slide in between the mounts at both ends, so far no movement. But they are cruise pegs not foot pegs any way. I am one of those guys that is not afraid to bring out the torch/grinder/welder/drill to make something work. I can put it back together if it doesn't work and you will never know it.
Hope this helps. I like working out of the box. lol

First Thank you for your service. those pegs look great and my neighbor has been trying to figure out how to do the same thing I will tell him about this and maybe he can do about the same thing he is a pretty good mechanic too. Thanks for sharing.:)
